How Requentra handles data

Public professional information

Professionals choose the name, title, profession, location, organisation and summary shown on their public profile. Their Gates and chosen descriptions are public. The sign-in service identifies the professional to the application and supplies an account identifier and email address used to protect their dashboard.

Requests and private tracking links

When you send a request, Requentra stores your name, email, request description, attachments, responses, Scope Receipts and status so that the professional can assess and answer it. A private tracking link is generated once and only a one-way hash of its secret is stored. The link is a bearer credential: anyone you give it to can view your request. It does not create a requester account.

Storage and authorised access

Professional data and request details are stored in the application database. Uploaded files are held in private object storage and served only to the relevant professional or the holder of the private tracking link. Authorised professionals can access requests sent to their Gates. Requests are not published in discovery results. The professional may change a request’s status and ask for a specific clarification. We do not promise that external contact after an introduction takes place within Requentra.

Withdrawal and record retention

Keep your tracking link private. If you need a request withdrawn, use the action on its tracking page while available. A withdrawal changes its status and does not automatically delete the record. The application does not currently offer a self-service deletion or export flow. No fixed deletion schedule is represented here.
